If you know how to knit, please make me this. PLEASE. It is literally the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

You might have to buy the pattern here...but if you seriously are gonna make it for me I'LL buy the pattern for you for me. Pretty please. Baby C needs it.

BABY BUMP!

It's week 26 and I have yet to post a true baby bump picture, so I took one special for this occasion. I'm sufficiently awkward and weirded out that Josh is taking a profile shot, so enjoy it. I also have to admit that I don't really look that pregnant in my normal everyday clothes. Something about the garment band across the middle of my belly significantly decreases the cute bumpness of pregnancy and makes it feel more like I'm just storing a lot of fat in my belly. Is this supposed to change? And can someone tell me why the third trimester is just so terrible?

Also, I found out that December 29th is the latest/earliest day the baby will come (aka I'll get induced) if he doesn't come naturally before then. I'm channeling my positive thoughts and energy into an early arrival.

New pregnancy things as of late:
  • Increased urination. It's starting back up again and I don't like it very much.
  • Breathing problems?! I all of the sudden at night am having a hard time breathing. Is this normal?
  • I've officially "popped" and I can't wear any normal pants anymore, so it's all maternity and stretchy waistbands for me. I love it.
  • Nesting....I think it's come. I am cleaning more now and I'm worried about getting things in their places and unpacking and organizing. I can't tell if this is my attempt at getting out of school work or if it's the nesting phase kicking in.
  • I can eat vegetables! I'm full on eating like a normal healthy person now, except that I still don't enjoy making salads.
  • Mood swings - I get annoyed really easily. I'm so sorry, husband. But I also get in really nurturing moods where I make batches of cookies and lasagna!
So that's all I can think of. I know there are a billion more things...but oh well. I think the weirdest trait of all is that I have this intense desire to CRAFT. I just want to make things! And I can't wait for Halloween decorating which will start on the first day of Fall.

Cheers!

Highlights from the last weeks

- Brand new microwave! We made it 2 months (with 3 weeks of vacation) without having one in the house. Josh and I (but mostly Josh) got sick of washing our 3 pots every time we had to warm something up, so new microwave it is!

- Visit to California last weekend to see Adam and Emma. We went to the Kodak and Chinese Theatres and I saw Rupert, Emma, and Dan's handprints in the cement.

- My last Dr. appointment of the second trimester. The end of September marks my entrance into the third-most-dreaded-of-all-pregnant-women trimester.

- I'm taking a personal training class. It's seriously awesome.

- Halloween decorations are ready to come out, but I'm waiting until the first day of Fall.

- Calvert family dinner last night. We got to see Amber and Abbey's family's for the second time since April.

Things to look forward to?
- Adam is visiting this weekend, Natalie comes next week, and Mom and Dad come next weekend.

- I'm gonna post a baby bump picture soon, I promise.
